Statistical Analysis

Stacey was part of a team of graduate students who designed and conducted the 2009 Shaping Sustainability Survey for Portland State University as part of the Planning Methods course sequence.  This report of findings sheds light on what the community feels PSU’s role is in creating more sustainable communities.

Continuing Care Retirement Center Case Study

Stacey, along with her teammate Sarah DeVries, developed this case study of a unique type of retirement community as part of their Real Estate Development coursework.  Mirabella Portland follows the continuum of care model but breaks the traditional suburban mold by locating the project in an urban setting.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Stacey and her teammate, Dan Schauer developed this spatial analysis of ideal locations for affordable housing developments for Clackamas Community Land Trust as part of their GIS coursework.  By utilizing a variety of data sources such as government surplus land and DEQ designated Brownfield properties, this report sifts out affordable pieces of land close to amenities and transportation linkages that should be further investigated as development sites.
